Standard of academics in Anjuman-I-Islam Public School & Jr. College, Panchgani are high. Teachers are not only highly qualified, skilled and experienced but dedicated and consistent in their mission of pedagogy.

What we offer

Medium of instruction is English. We are affiliated to Maharashtra State Board Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Kolhapur Division, following MSCERT syllabus with English as a first language, Hindi as second language and Marathi/Urdu/Gujrati (any one) as a third language. It is obligatory for students residing in Maharashtra longer than 5 years at the time of SSC Examination to opt for Marathi as a third language. Other subjects include Mathematics, Science, EVS, Social Studies, Value Education, Information Technology, Physical Education, Personality Development, Self-Defence, Art-Craft and Work Experience. Weekly time table is designed such as to give enough weightage to all subjects, theory, practicals and field visits.

Three departments, viz. Primary section (Jr KG to grade IV, Secondary Section Grade V to X and Jr. College: Grade XI and XII; Science and Commerce) exist in dedicated separate premises. Special coaching class takes care of students coming from vernacular medium and weak performers. Due consideration is given to the individual pace of a learner, which varies from a child to child.

E-Class: Every class has a dedicated projector and A/V set-up for enhanced and interactive learning experience. Teachers have an access to pre-designed and open source and self-developed library of e-material for increased productivity.

Examination pattern is based on formative and summative assessment to help teachers identify students’ strength and weaknesses. Internal assessment points are allotted on the basis of practicals, journals, students engagement in hands-on activities and field visits.

Co-curricular Activities

Co-curricular activities are a vital part of boarding life which help students concentrate more in the classroom and teach them valuable life lessons. The importance of extracurricular activities at school has been proven by many types of research.

Children should engage in at least two co-curricular activities to utilize their energy completely and explore their talents. We try create a right mix of co-curricular activities that will stimulate a child’s mind and body both. Our calendar has been well scheduled to accommodate varying engaging activities like drama, debate, elocution, poetry recitation, quizzes, etc.
